About us

We live in Omana Road Papatoetoe having moved here at the end of 2002. We had previously lived in Dunedin, Napier Mangere Bridge in Auckland and earlier on we lived for five years in Bougainville in Papua New Guinea

Janet is the Nurse Manager of the McEwan House rest home in Manurewa and Bob is a Senior Project Director and International Manager for GHD Ltd. Bob has travelled extensively with the company and some of his travels are documented on this web site.

Our Daughter Victoria is married to Andrew with two young children and lives in Christchurch having gone through the devastating earthquakes in 2010 and 2011. Their house has been written off and they are looking to where they will settle.

Our two boys James and Peter live with us here in Papatoetoe

Recent News

In November 2011 Bob travelled to Yap in the Federated States of Micronesia in the North Pacific to work on an Asian Development Bank project on Renewable Energy. On the way there and back he travelled through Darwin Cairns, Guam and Manila.
